Introduction

GroveCourt Stud was established in 2001 and lies in 43 acres of post and rail and hedged pasture. We now stand two highly commercial stallions offering the opportunity to breed real success and tremendous value.

Zoe Bailey and Mervyn Jenkins have both been involved with horses all their lives. Mervyn has a farming background and Zoe had a successful career as an event rider for over twenty years. Grovecourt stud has 30 boxes to accommodate mares and foals. The padded foaling boxes are equipped with 24-hour cctv coverage. Maiden and barren mares are stabled in barns keeping them warmer and therefore making them cycle earlier. All mares and foals are turned out in nearby paddocks during the day.

Grovecourt stud prides itself on attention to detail and to have a completely disease free unit. All boxes are frequently steam cleaned and disinfected. We also insist all visiting mares are blood and cem tested before arrival. Expert 24-hour veterinary care is available. As well as breeding thoroughbreds, Zoe and Mervyn are committed to rehabilitation and retraining of ex-racehorses.

Although our farm stands in its own lands in a completely private location, we are only 20 minutes from the M4 and only 10 minutes from the A449 dual carriageway in Monmouthshire.
