Murdoch:

One of Merv's first and probably his favourite of Kiz's offspring, having spent many hours looking after him when he tried to commit suicide on a hook!

Having suvived the hook episode we decided that at 2yrs old it was time he went to boarding school (Eton as it was flat, was chosen)  he was becoming rather boisterious by then as he was still a colt. All seemed to be going well, reports were good and he was ready for his first race. We were all amazed at how well he ran, at one point his Headmaster thought he was actually going  to win but we settled for 2nd for which we were all really pleased, he had made a very promising start to his career on the flat, he then came home as winter had set in.
3 months later and having been cut in the meantime he then went back to school, we thought to continue from where he left off but it was not to be, from there on it went downhill  with school reports going from'could do better' and 'must try harder' to the point of exasperation where he was expelled under the 'none triers listings'! he then came home in disgrace to contemplate a rather dubious future.

3yrs on or 1000 days later we then decided to try again as he was driving us and his 3 friend's mad, so we have put him back into boarding school (Harrow this time) of a different sort, at the moment his reports are good , he is enjoying his jumping and showing a modicum of talent! (I also have heard he is known as the talented fruitloop)  he can now make it past 'Grandad's seat' on his 3rd trip up the gallops.

A race is now on the cards so we will see if he wants to play or whether history repeats itself!
